The Department of Health and Human Services is partnering with Marymount University to give employees various educational options to help further their professional careers. Marymount is an independent, comprehensive Catholic university offering a wide array of undergraduate and graduate degrees through the Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Education and Human Services, and Health Professions. The University serves 2,000 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students through courses offered on its main campus in Arlington, VA, an additional campus in the Ballston section of Arlington, and the Reston Center in western Fairfax County, VA. The University also offers courses online and on-site at businesses and government agencies through Marymount's Educational Partnership program.

Marymount University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award doctoral, master's, and bachelor's degrees.
