Eligibility Requirements

The Emerging Leaders Program recruits applicants from top graduate programs across the nation. The program seeks qualified applicants that demonstrate capacity for leadership, potential for professional growth and development, and a keen interest in analysis and management of policies and programs. Applicants with a desire to improve health and human services for all Americans and meet the following prerequisites are highly encouraged to apply.

You must be a U.S. citizen.

You must have one or more of the following degrees:

  • Bachelor (1 year of specialized experience related to the career track for which you are applying)
  • Master
  • JD
  • Ph.D.

With one or more of the following majors:

Scientific

  • Biology
  • Microbiology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Physiology
  • Statistics
  • Computer Sciences

Public Health

  • Pharmacology
  • Public Health
  • Public Administration
