African-American History Month
The Program Support Center invites you to commemorate African American History Month:
Time: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Parklawn Building, 3rd Floor, Conference Rooms D & E
Keynote speaker: Kenneth Morris, Jr.
Kenneth Morris Jr. is descended from two of the most important names in American history. He is the great-great-great grandson of Frederick Douglass, abolitionist and diplomat and the great-great grandson of Booker T. Washington, educator and African American Civil Rights leader.
Mr. Morris, President of the Frederick Douglass Family Foundation is also a successful businessman and talented performer. He will give a presentation on the national theme, “Quest for Black Citizenship in the Americas.”
This year's program is jointly sponsored by the Program Support Center, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, Food and Drug Administration, Health Resources and Services Administration, Indian Health Service, Office of Minority Health and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
